Where the Winds Come Sweeping Down the Plains...

Four weeks ago tonight, my parents' house was hit by a tornado... while the damage is significant, it is completely reparable... in four to six months.

Three weeks ago, King Manor gained six additional occupants: three furry ones and three human ones.... For our purposes, we shall refer to my parents as Grammy and Papa, and my grandmother shall remain Nana. They bring with them Senor Charlie (a sometimes cantankerous Chihuahua), Katie-Bug (a somewhat misfitted Boston Terrier), and Abbykins (a sprightly Schnauzer).

Poor little Katie-Bug does her best to fit in with the Schnauzers, and she is quite good mates with Abby... however there seems to be some bit of discord between her and Sir Jasper. The source of the contention is unknown, but I suspect it may have something to do with sweet little Katie-Bug's intestinal issues... or perhaps her significant snoring problem... Hopefully this situation will resolve itself....

Miss Lucy and Abbykins are quite fascinated with a nightly visitor, Mister Frog. He leads his amphibious army through a breach in the Manor walls, but a hasty retreat is usually made once the sentry is alerted. The attraction of Mister Frog is perplexing... initially it was thought that the guard was simply securing the borders... but perhaps the young ladies are hoping he is actually a prince in disguise.

Indeed... a grand adventure has begun!

The Attack of the Amphibians!

There seems to be a breach in the manor walls... a fiesty frog and his comrades continue to enter the compound and terrorize Miss Lucy, Sir Jasper, and their friend Miss Abbykins! While Mister Frog has yet to reach the manse, he is quite courageous in the face of three snarling Schnauzers who raise the alarm the moment he and his amphibious army cross the border. The sentry have nearly captured the invader on several occasions, but unfortunately this evening, they find themselves confined to quarters in an attempt to maintain peace in the village.
All is quiet at King Manor... for now...
